Due to an unforeseen situation, we have had to reroute our trip and have a new meeting location for tomorrow, August 18th. We ask that you meet us at the following location to park and check-in:

Enjoy the Summer at Harold Simmons Park! Join us for a canoe float trip from Mountain Creek Preserve to the Sylvan Avenue Bridge. Canoes and safety gear will be provided for the trip.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult. It is recommended that you bring at least 2 liters of drinking water; wear old tennis shoes – no sandals or flip flops, bring a hat and sunscreen with you to make sure the trip is an enjoyable experience for all.

This event is free and open to the public, but reservations in advance are required as there are a limited amount of canoes and equipment available. We hope you will join us for a fun and informative summer on the Trinity River!
