Trinity Park Conservancy
1444 Oak Lawn Avenue, Ste 200, Dallas, TX 75207

The Trinity: the Intersectionality of Race, Opportunity, and Public Spaces.

For many, the Trinity is more than a river. Historically, it is considered an area of division that has separated Dallas residents by race, socioeconomic status and opportunity. Join the Trinity Park Conservancy for conversation as we unravel the social history of our river.

Jerry Hawkins of Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation, Lizzie MacWillie of bcWORKSHOP and Isaac Cohen of Studio Outside will discuss the importance of equity when creating public spaces. Brent Brown, will share the Conservancy’s commitment and ongoing efforts to develop Harold Simmons Park as a gathering space for all of Dallas.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
